The AirTAC MGCD40X200 is a double acting, double-rod JIS mini cylinder with a 40 mm bore and 200 mm stroke. A rod exits both covers with the same M14x1.5 male thread at each end, so both strokes see the rod-side area and the output force is equal in both directions: about 527.8 N at 0.5 MPa and 738.9 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 107.6 kgf at 1.0 MPa. A variable air cushion at both ends lets you tune the deceleration at each stroke end, so the piston can run at higher speeds or carry heavier loads without hard metal-to-metal stops. The through-rod also gives natural anti-rotation and a free rear rod end you can use for a position flag, a stop, or a second load.
Construction follows the JIS round-body mini format: a SUS304 stainless barrel with riveted covers and a hard-chrome plated 16 mm rod for long seal and bearing life.
