Because a 16 mm hard-chrome rod exits both covers with the same M14x1.5 male thread each end, both sides of the piston see the rod-side area, so the output force is equal in both directions: about 527.8 N at 0.5 MPa and 738.9 N at 0.7 MPa. The adjustable cushion decelerates the piston smoothly at each end of the short 50 mm stroke, allowing higher speeds and heavier loads than an unbuffered cylinder, while the rear rod end can carry a stop flag, position flag or a second load.
Construction follows the JIS mini-cylinder footprint with a riveted SUS304 stainless barrel and hard-chrome plated carbon-steel rod, and the two-way lubricant-storing piston seal extends service life.
