The MGCD50X225S is a double acting, double rod JIS round-body mini cylinder with a 50 mm bore and 225 mm stroke. Because a 20 mm rod exits both covers with the same M18x1.5 male thread at each end, both sides of the piston see the rod-side area, so the output force is equal in both directions: about 824.3 N each way at 0.5 MPa, rising to 1154 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 168.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa.
