The AirTAC MGCD50X350 is a double acting, double rod JIS mini cylinder with a 50 mm bore and a 350 mm stroke. A 20 mm rod exits both covers with the same M18x1.5 male thread at each end, so the rod-side area is effective in both directions and the output force is equal both ways: about 824.3 N at 0.5 MPa and 1154 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 168.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Both ends carry a variable air cushion, so the piston decelerates smoothly at each end of the 350 mm travel, allowing higher speeds or heavier loads than an unbuffered cylinder.
The round-body barrel is SUS304 stainless with riveted covers and hard-chrome plated rods, built to the JIS footprint. If you need a double-rod cylinder at bore 20-40 without cushioning, the MGD with fixed bumpers is the lighter choice; if a single rod plus cushion is enough, choose the MGC. The through-rod gives inherent anti-rotation and a rear rod end for a stop, flag or second load, and the variable air cushion at both ends lets you tune deceleration for high-speed stops. Mount with the FA flange or LB foot, and add I or Y rod knuckles on the rod ends; CB and SDB are not available. Order the -S suffix if you want a magnet for CMSG, DMSG or EMSG switches; without it no sensor can be mounted.
