Because a 20 mm rod exits both covers with the same M18x1.5 male thread at each end, both sides of the piston see the rod-side area, so the output force is equal in both directions: about 824.3 N each way at 0.5 MPa and 1154 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical maximum of 168.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa. A variable air cushion at both ends decelerates the piston smoothly, allowing higher travel speeds and heavier loads without hard metal stops. Ports are 1/4".
The barrel is SUS304 stainless with hard-chrome plated rods and riveted covers, built to the JIS footprint for drop-in fit in mini-cylinder installations.
