How to choose
Bore sets the force: a 16 mm bore gives about 100.5 N theoretical push (86.4 N pull) at 0.5 MPa, so size up if you need more. Choose MK when rod rotation must be prevented, or MD when rotation is allowed. Acting type: MK is double acting here; single push (MSK), single pull (MTK), double rod (MKD) and adjustable-stroke (MKJ) variants exist. Stroke 45 mm sits within the bore 16 table limit of up to 50 mm; the short body cover means a very long stroke is not the intent for this series, so do not over-stretch it. This SKU has no magnet; add S for one. Thread is PT by default or G with a trailing G.
Applications
Rotational gate and stopper
Extend the rod to stop or divert parts on a conveyor line. The MK no-rotating design keeps the rod face square to the part so the stop plate stays aligned stroke after stroke.
Fixture clamping in machining cells
Fix the square body from the top or side of a jig, then clamp small workpieces with about 100.5 N push at 0.5 MPa. Side-by-side mounting puts several clamps in tight fixture plates.
Indexing and push positioning
Use the 45 mm stroke to advance parts one station at a time on a small indexing table, with the no-rotating rod keeping the pusher plate orientation fixed.

The MK family is the no-rotating version: a plate, bushing and fixed rod prevent the piston rod from turning. The MD family is the standard version where the rod may rotate. If your tooling or pusher plate must hold its orientation, pick MK; if rotation is harmless, MD works too.
