How to choose
Choose bore 6 for light-duty thrust - a theoretical 14.1 N push at 0.5 MPa - and step up through the MK bores when more force is needed. MK stops rod rotation; MD does not. Acting options are double, single push, single pull, double rod and adjustable-stroke, with this model double acting. The 30 mm stroke sits inside the bore 6 table, which ends at 35 mm - the short covers mean an over-long stroke is not the design intent, so keep the span sensible. How short should my stroke be with this cylinder?
For bore 6 double acting, standard strokes run up to 35 mm, and this 30 mm model is near that limit. The compact covers are not designed for over-long strokes, so staying within the table protects the bumper cushioning and guide precision.
