The MKD10X15 is a double-rod, double acting multi-mount cylinder from the AirTAC MK family. Its compact square body fixes from 6 directions (front, back, left, right, top and bottom) and can be mounted side by side to save space, with magnetic-switch slots around the body and high guide precision. The 10 mm bore runs on filtered air at 0.2-1.0 MPa (28-145 psi) and, double acting at 0.5 MPa, gives a theoretical 39.3 N push / 33.0 N rod-side thrust; the 15 mm stroke adds a little extra reach for short transfer work, and cushioning is a bumper.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. MK cylinders are the no-rotating members of the MD family: a fixed rod and no-rotating plate stop the piston rod from turning, on both ends of this double-rod unit. As the SKU carries no S suffix, this unit is supplied without a magnetic piston. Overall dimensions change with stroke, so confirm them from the datasheet or ask us and we will check sizing with you.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC MD/MK multi-mount data. The front cover and piston are short, so avoid an over-long stroke. An optional high-temperature seal material extends the range to 0 to 150 C. How to choose
Choose the bore for thrust: at 0.5 MPa a 10 mm bore gives 39.3 N push / 33.0 N rod side (theoretical). Choose MKD over MD when the rod must not rotate; MD is the standard version. This is a double-rod, double acting unit, so both strokes work with a rod on each end. The 15 mm stroke stays within the double-acting bore-10 table (up to 35 mm); remember the short covers make over-long strokes impractical. No S means no magnet - add S for a magnetic piston. Ports are M5x0.8 with PT thread as standard, or G on request. Allowable side-load comes from the datasheet - ask us.

How is MKD10X15 different from the MKD10X10?
Both are double-rod, double acting, no-rotating MK-family cylinders with a 10 mm bore. The X15 code means a 15 mm stroke instead of 10 mm, and neither SKU carries the S suffix, so both are supplied without a magnetic piston.
Can I use this cylinder where the load pushes sideways on the rod?
The MK body gives high guide precision, but the allowable side-load is a datasheet value, not a general figure. Send us your load and mounting layout and we will confirm the side-load and dimensions from the datasheet before you order.
