The MKD20X5 is a genuine AirTAC multi-mount cylinder from the MK family: a compact square-body unit fixed from 6 directions (front, back, left, right, top and bottom) that mounts side by side with other units to save space, with magnetic-switch slots around the body. This double-rod, double-acting, no-rotating model has a 20mm bore with a rod-side theoretical thrust of 131.9 N at 0.5 MPa and a very short 5mm stroke, cushioned by a bumper.
The no-rotating plate, bushing and fixed rod of the MK build stop the rod from turning, which keeps small pads and pins pointing exactly where you set them. How to choose
Match the 20mm bore's 131.9 N rod-side theoretical thrust at 0.5 MPa to your load before selecting. MKD double rod gives you a working rod end on both sides of the body, and MK is the family to pick when the rod must never rotate. The 5mm stroke is well inside the 20mm bore table (up to 60mm), but very short strokes like this are built with short covers: keep the application genuinely short-travel and do not stretch beyond the coded stroke. This SKU includes the magnet (S), and PT threading can be ordered as G if needed.

Short-Kick Part Ejector
A 5mm nudge is enough to slide a small finished part off a nest or fixture, and the double rod lets the same unit eject from either side of a tight station.

FAQ
Is a 5mm stroke enough, or should I order a longer one for MKD20X5?
Only if your job genuinely needs 5mm of travel, such as an eject, lift or micro clamp. Very short strokes use short covers on the compact body, and the cylinder should not be ordered with an over-long stroke beyond the bore's table; if you need more travel, step up within the 20mm bore table or ask us to size it from the datasheet.
How does the no-rotating MK design differ from a standard MD cylinder here?
A standard MD multi-mount cylinder allows the rod to rotate, which is fine for simple push-pull work. The MK family, including this MKD double rod, adds a no-rotating plate, bushing and fixed rod so the rod cannot turn, keeping pads, pins and fixtures aligned.
