How to choose
Choose the 6 mm bore where light thrust is enough: at 0.5 MPa the double-rod MKD6X30 gives about 10.6 N of theoretical thrust per side. MK means rod rotation is prevented; if rotation is acceptable, the MD family is the standard alternative. This is a double-acting double-rod model with a 30 mm stroke, still within the 35 mm maximum for bore 6/10 double-acting cylinders, though you are close to the top of the table - confirm the extra cover length suits your fixture. The MKD6X30 pushes a finished small part off a nest or locator at the end of a manual station, and the no-rotating plate keeps the push rod square to the part as it slides free.

The MKD6X30 has a 30 mm stroke on a 6 mm bore - is that within range?
Yes. For double-acting cylinders on bore 6/10, the stroke table goes up to 35 mm, so 30 mm is valid but near the maximum, which means a longer cover on the compact body. If you need a shorter or intermediate length, the MKD6X25 is the next listed step down.
What stops the rod from rotating, and how is this different from the MD family?
The MK family adds a fixed rod, no-rotating plate and brass bushing so the rod cannot turn during operation - useful when the rod drives an off-axis or asymmetric fitting. The MD family is the standard multi-mount version where rod rotation is not prevented; MKD specifically adds the double-rod (rod from both ends) arrangement.
