The PSS602B-S is AirTAC's universal speed controller in the SUS304 stainless build. It meters air in one direction and lets it pass freely in the other, so you set how fast an actuator moves rather than just switching it on and off. This is the B code, meter-in control: the free path runs from the thread port into the tube and the return path is throttled. AirTAC positions meter-in for SINGLE-acting cylinders, where the spring does the return and throttling the supply is what smooths the stroke; on a double-acting cylinder driven by a solenoid valve, AirTAC treats meter-out as the first priority instead.
The stainless -S build swaps the brass throttling column for SUS304 and uses a stainless spring gasket, with the throttling body in aluminium alloy or SUS304 depending on the part. Meter-Out or Meter-In?
