The AirTAC Airtac SAUF Series Valve-Mounted Air Cylinder SAUF63X1000S-10B is a genuine double-acting profile-type cylinder with a Ø63mm bore, 1000mm stroke and a built-in 4M310-10 5/2 solenoid valve — it switches itself from one coil signal, so no separate remote valve or extra plumbing is needed.
The SAUF63X1000S-10B is a double-acting profile cylinder with a built-in AirTAC 4M 5/2 solenoid valve on the cap. One coil signal drives the actuator, eliminating remote plumbing and saving a manifold slot. The extruded aluminum barrel is shorter than an ISO 15552 cylinder of the same bore. It features a piston magnet for switches and a 1000 mm stroke.
Driven by a 4M310-10 valve (3/8" port, Cv 1.68, 4 cycles/s max), it operates on DC24V terminal entry with IP65 protection. The cylinder body rates to 1.0 MPa, but the assembled unit must run within the 0.15-0.8 MPa valve window. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 1559 N and pulls 1402 N. For sizing, expect a safe working load around 935 N, or a vertical lift capacity of roughly 79 kg with a 2:1 margin.

The cylinder rates to 1.0 MPa but the built-in valve operates 0.15–0.8 MPa, so run the assembled SAUF at 0.15–0.8 MPa. Default: rod retracts when the coil is energised (reconfigurable to extend). Specs follow the official AirTAC SAUF datasheet. Port options: PT / G.

Sized within the valve's 0.15–0.8 MPa range. Actual usable force is lower than theoretical due to friction and back-pressure.

SAUF does not hold its load without air — the valve routes air, it is not a lock. For a held load, add an external rod lock or a pilot-operated check valve.
Mounts directly at the divert station. The integrated 4M310-10 valve switches the 1000 mm stroke locally, removing long tube runs back to a central manifold.
Lifts gates up to 79 kg using one DC24V signal. The built-in magnet allows position feedback at the top and bottom of the 1000 mm travel.
Pushes parts along an extended bed. The profile cylinder saves space while the 3/8" valve port delivers Cv 1.68 flow for rapid actuation.
Size by force: the 63 mm bore pushes 1559 N at 0.5 MPa, sitting between the 50 mm (982 N) and 80 mm (2513 N) bores. Confirm the DC24V terminal entry and 3/8" valve port match your supply. The cylinder port is 3/8" with an M16x1.5 rod thread. Operating pressure is 0.15-0.8 MPa; do not exceed 0.8 MPa. Default action retracts the rod when energised, but repositioning the valve changes it to extend-when-energised. The valve routes air and is not a lock; add an external rod lock or pilot-operated check valve to hold a load. At 1000 mm stroke, use external guides to prevent rod bending and side loads.
Quick checklist
It pushes 1559 N and pulls 1402 N at 0.5 MPa. The built-in valve is a 4M310-10 (3/8" port, Cv 1.68, 4 cycles/s max) running on DC24V. Although the cylinder body rates to 1.0 MPa, the assembled unit operates strictly within 0.15-0.8 MPa.
By default the rod retracts when the coil receives a signal. You can reconfigure it to extend-when-energised simply by repositioning the built-in valve. This allows flexible machine sequencing without altering your electrical controls.
