The AirTAC SC50X260 is a 50 mm bore double-acting pneumatic cylinder delivering a 260 mm stroke. Choose the SC50X260 when your application needs roughly 1000 N of force at typical shop air. If you need more force, stepping up to the SC63 bore delivers 1559 N push at 0.5 MPa; if you need less, the SC40 bore provides 628 N. At 260 mm of stroke the 20 mm rod is well supported inside the barrel, but if the load applies a side force or the rod must push off-axis, add an external linear guide or switch to a guided cylinder to prevent rod bearing wear.
