If your load requires slightly less force, stepping down to the SCD200 bore reduces the 0.5 MPa output to 15080 N, while still using the same M36x2 rod thread. For applications that only need force in one direction, the single-rod SC250 series offers a higher push force because the full bore area is available on the extend stroke, making it a more efficient choice for simple pressing or clamping tasks.

At a 600 mm stroke, the long unsupported rod sections on both ends can experience bending under significant side loads. If your tooling applies any radial force, do not rely on the through-rod alone for guidance; pair the cylinder with an external linear guide or switch to a dedicated guided cylinder. For a direct replacement, match the 250 mm bore, 600 mm stroke, PT1 inch port thread, and ensure the mounting accessory (if any) is from the SCD subset—basic, FA front flange, LB foot, or TC centre trunnion with TCM1 bracket. Adding the -S magnet option allows CMSG/DMSG sensors to detect piston position directly on the tie-rod barrel.
