The AirTAC SED100X130 is a double-acting, double-rod profile cylinder fully dimensionally interchangeable per ISO 15552. Because a rod exits both ends, the annulus area is identical on extend and retract. This equal-force design yields 3681 N each way at 0.5 MPa and 5153 N at 0.7 MPa, preventing thrust asymmetry in twin-side mechanisms.

Built on an extruded aluminum barrel with no external tie rods, it features field-adjustable air cushioning at both ends over a 36 mm stroke. The 25 mm rods use M20x1.5 threads. This SKU lacks a magnet (-S), so it cannot host CMSE or DMSE sensors; the rear rod end is free to mount a cam or tooling instead.

If you need more power, the 125 mm bore yields 5734 N at 0.5 MPa. A double-rod SE outperforms a single-rod SE by guiding the load against rotation and driving twin mechanisms from one piston.

This cylinder uses a PT1/2 port and fits Basic, FA, LB, TC, FTC, TCM1, or TCM2 mounts (omitting FB/CA/CB/CR). At 130 mm stroke, side-load is moderate, but external guides are recommended for heavy lateral loads. Note: a plain SED drifts on air loss; the air cushion decelerates near stroke end but is not a lock. For fail-safe holding, use a BSED or external rod lock.
