Simply order the SAUD100X160 in place of this model. The SAU replacement uses the same profile body, bore, stroke, force and SC-series mounting. It moves to the current CMSG / DMSG / EMSG sensor switches (the SU used CS1-B / DS1-B) and adds the SAUF valve-integrated option.

The AirTAC SUD100X160 is a double-acting, double-rod profile cylinder that is officially discontinued. The exact drop-in replacement is the SAUD100X160, matching the 100mm bore, 160mm stroke, 1/2 inch port, and FA/LB mounting. A rod exits both ends on one piston, meaning both faces use the rod-side area and push/pull force is equal both ways. This configuration provides excellent anti-rotation stability and allows the back rod to drive a second tool simultaneously.
Force is equal both ways at 3681 N @0.5 MPa, 5153 N @0.7 MPa, and 6626 N @0.9 MPa. For sizing, the safe working load is roughly 2209 N (about 60 percent of the 0.5 MPa figure), yielding a vertical lift capacity of about 188 kg with a 2:1 margin. This SKU has no magnet and cannot take a sensor. Note that air cushions only decelerate near stroke end; use an external rod lock for held loads.
