AirTAC has phased out the MAL series. The drop-in replacement is SAUD32X80 — same bore, stroke, output force, port and mounting, so it fits the same application. Simply order the SAUD32X80 in place of this model. The SAU replacement uses the same profile body, bore, stroke, force and SC-series mounting. It moves to the current CMSG / DMSG / EMSG sensor switches (the SU used CS1-B / DS1-B) and adds the SAUF valve-integrated option.

The AirTAC SUD32X80 is a double-acting, double-rod profile cylinder featuring an extruded aluminum barrel. Because a rod exits both ends, the push and pull force is equal both ways at 345 N @0.5 MPa, 483 N @0.7 MPa, and 621 N @0.9 MPa. This model is discontinued; the exact drop-in replacement is the SAUD32X80, retaining the 32 mm bore, 80 mm stroke, 1/8" port, and FA/LB mounting. This non-magnetic SKU cannot take a sensor.
The dual-rod design prevents piston rotation and allows driving two tools simultaneously from one compact body. For sizing, the safe working load is roughly 207 N (60% of the 345 N @0.5 MPa figure), yielding a vertical lift capacity of about 18 kg with a 2:1 margin.
