About the Airtac TACE Guided Compact Cylinder TACE25X40
The TACE25X40 is a double acting, non-rotating compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, with a 25 mm bore and 40 mm stroke. Twin guide rods on a yoke stop the tooling rotating and carry side load, so a gripper or plate stays square without an external guide. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 245.4 N and pulls 206.2 N, enough to lift about 25 kg vertically, or roughly 12 kg with a 2:1 margin.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it fits tight jigs, guards and gantries. A fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-stroke energy. Plan on about 147 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa rather than the full rating.
