About the Airtac TACE Guided Compact Cylinder TACE50X50
A double acting, non-rotating compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the TACE50X50 pairs a 50 mm bore and 16 mm rod with a 50 mm stroke, and twin guide rods on a yoke stop the tooling rotating while carrying side load. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 981.7 N and pulls 881.2 N; at 0.7 MPa output rises to 1374.4 N push and 1233.7 N pull, with a theoretical peak of 200.2 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The hard-anodized aluminium body and S45C hard-chrome plated rod shrug off continuous jig and gantry duty.
The short body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it drops into tight fixtures and guarded stations where a full-length cylinder will not fit. In practice, plan on roughly 589 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 50 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. A fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-stroke shock, and the optional -S magnet code allows CMSE or DMSE switches - without -S there is no magnet.
