About the GC20006C2G AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/8

The AirTAC GC200 series is a three-piece F.R.L. combination: a separate air filter, pressure regulator and oil-mist lubricator assembled as one air-preparation set. This GC20006C2G is built with a G1/8 (BSPP) port, a 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain on the filter bowl, a standard regulator adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), an external round gauge reading in psi, and a mounting bracket. The filter and lubricator bowls are polycarbonate (PC); maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GC series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, each step with a larger port and greater flow capacity, and options include a 5 um filter element (code W), automatic or manual drain, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and NPT or G thread in place of the PT standard. Published flow data appears as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures for your application against the datasheet.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
2Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
GG (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF200-06 filter, GR200-06 regulator and GL200-06 lubricator.

Size Class & How It Differs From GFC

  • GC200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GC300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GC400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GC600PT3/4" - PT1"

A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Where the GC20006C2G AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/8 Is Used

factory

Paint shop air prep

Mounted at a spray-booth drop, the set removes water and particulate, holds a fixed set pressure and delivers a light oil mist so paint guns receive clean, regulated, lubricated air all shift.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line cylinders

Installed at the inlet of a packaging conveyor's pneumatic circuit, it filters condensate and chips out of the supply, keeps line pressure steady for repeatable cylinder strokes and oils the valves and cylinders.

build

Machine shop air drop

A point-of-use FRL at a workbench drop lets each operator set their own working pressure on the gauge and keeps air tools and small actuators lubricated through the day.

Is the GC20006C2G AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/8 the Right Station?

Size and port are the first choice: the GC series steps through 200, 300, 400 and 600 with larger ports at each step, so match the step to the flow your line needs - this unit is size 200 with a 1/8 in port. Then set the drain (differential-pressure as here, or automatic or manual), the filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W), the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), and the thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are catalogue options). A bracket is included with this unit. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Three-unit (GC) or two-unit (GFC) layout
  • ✓ Oil mist acceptable downstream

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install with the airflow arrow: filter first, lubricator last.
  • check Mount vertically, bowls down.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills; check the oil level.
  • check Keep the station above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR200-06 regulator with a GF200-06 filter on that branch.

GC20006C2G AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, G1/8 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GC series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one number to quote. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.

The C2 in the code specifies the external round gauge with a psi scale; MPa and bar scales are catalogue options, and the embedded square gauge is the standard fitting. The trailing G is the G (BSPP) thread; PT is the standard thread and NPT is an order option.
