The AirTAC GC40015F2WGK AirTAC F.R.L. Combination Unit, G1/2 is a genuine G-series three-unit F.R.L. combination: a separate filter, a separate regulator and a separate lubricator assembled as one air-preparation station. It has PT1/2" ports, a 5 µm element, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
The GC40015F2WGK is an AirTAC GC400 three-piece F.R.L. combination: a separate air filter, pressure regulator and oil-mist lubricator assembled as one unit. This configuration is built with 1/2 in ports threaded G (BSPP), a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two catalogue grades), a differential-pressure drain on the filter bowl, and a standard regulator adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). A square pressure gauge reading in psi is fitted, a reverse/check valve is installed, and the mounting bracket is included. The filter and lubricator bowls are polycarbonate (PC); only size 600 units use aluminium alloy bowls.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GC series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with a choice of drain type, filter grade, gauge and scale, thread (PT as standard, with G and NPT as order options), and reverse/check valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF400-15 filter, GR400-15 regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Supplying filtered, regulated and lubricated air to the pneumatic clamps and tool-change cylinders on a CNC machining centre, where clean 5 um air and a stable set pressure keep clamping consistent across shifts.
Conditioning the air at paint-line drop points: the 5 um element and water removal protect spray-gun finish quality, the regulator holds the gun supply pressure, and the lubricator mists oil to the air tools.
Feeding the cylinders and actuators on a carton-forming and sealing conveyor, where the combination unit keeps moisture and particles out of the valves, holds the line pressure, and lubricates the cycling cylinders.
Start with the port size: the GC series steps through 200, 300, 400 and 600, and the 400 size carries the 1/2 in ports decoded here. Match the size step to the air demand of the circuit, then confirm the choice against the published flow curves before ordering - we will run that check with you on request. For the filter stage, 40 um is the standard element and 5 um (code W, fitted on this model) is the finer option for more sensitive downstream equipment. Drain options on the filter bowl are differential-pressure (the default, fitted here), automatic, or manual. For the regulator, the standard type adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with differential-pressure or automatic drain, or from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual drain; gauge scales are available in MPa, psi or bar, embedded square as standard or external round as an option. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options - this unit carries G. A mounting bracket is included, and the reverse/check valve (code K) is fitted.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR400-15 regulator with a GF400-15 filter on that branch.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GC series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM number. Send us your air demand and line conditions and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for this 1/2 in, size 400 unit on request.
The G-series filter stage comes with a 40 um element as standard, and the W code on this model selects the finer 5 um grade. Choose 5 um when the downstream equipment - precision valves, spray equipment or instruments - needs cleaner air than the standard element provides. The drain on this unit is the differential-pressure type, and automatic or manual drains are available as order options.
