The AirTAC GC400C15AF2W AirTAC F.R.L. Combination, PT1/2 is a genuine G-series three-unit F.R.L. combination: a separate filter, a separate regulator and a separate lubricator assembled as one air-preparation station. It has See datasheet ports, a 40 µm element, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
The GC series is AirTAC's three-piece F.R.L. combination: a separate air filter, pressure regulator and oil-mist lubricator assembled as one supply unit. This GC400C15AF2W is the size 400 configuration with a PT1/2 port. The filter stage carries the 5 um element (code W) with an automatic drain, so collected water is expelled without manual attention; the regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) setting range and a square gauge scaled in psi; the lubricator adds oil mist to the downstream air. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the size 400 bowls are polycarbonate.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GC family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8" to 1", and each unit can be ordered with a different drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), a 40 um standard or 5 um filter element, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G(BSPP) or NPT threads. Rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet numbers for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF400-C1 filter, GR400-C1 regulator and GL400-C1 lubricator.
A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Supplying clean, regulated and lubricated air to pneumatic vise and clamp actuators on a machining centre, where the 5 um element protects the clamping valves and the regulator holds a steady clamp setting shift after shift.
Feeding the pneumatic pusher and stopper cylinders along a beverage bottling conveyor, with the automatic drain clearing condensate from compressed-air lines that cycle constantly through a damp plant.
Preparing the air feed for nutrunners, impact drivers and air cylinders at a manual assembly line, where the lubricator keeps tool motors running smoothly and the square psi gauge lets operators verify the set pressure at a glance.
Size and port are the first decision: the 200/300/400/600 steps rise in port size and flow capacity, so match the size to the air demand of the line - this unit is size 400 with a PT1/2 port. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order. The remaining choices are all decodable from the code: drain type (this unit is automatic; differential-pressure is the default and manual is also available), filter grade (5 um here, 40 um standard), gauge scale (psi here; MPa and bar are also offered), thread (PT standard, G and NPT to order) and whether a reverse/check valve is fitted (not fitted here). Mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR400-C1 regulator with a GF400-C1 filter on that branch.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GC series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number here. Tell us your application and line pressure and we will confirm the datasheet curve and check the sizing of this PT1/2 unit against your air demand before you order.
The automatic drain (code A) expels collected condensate from the filter bowl by itself, so the bowl does not need manual draining. The GC series is also available with the differential-pressure drain (the default) or a manual drain, and with the 40 um standard element instead of the 5 um element fitted here - just specify the code when ordering.
