The AirTAC GC400C15MC2WGK AirTAC F.R.L. Unit, G1/2, 5 um, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series three-unit F.R.L. combination: a separate filter, a separate regulator and a separate lubricator assembled as one air-preparation station. It has See datasheet ports, a 40 µm element, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
The GC series is AirTAC's three-piece F.R.L. combination: a separate air filter, pressure regulator and lubricator assembled into one supply unit. This GC400C15MC2WGK is built on the size 400 body with a G1/2 (BSPP) port, a 5 um filter element in a polycarbonate bowl, a manual drain, an external round pressure gauge reading in psi, a reverse/check valve on the regulator and the mounting bracket included. In use it removes water and particulate from the compressed air, holds your set downstream pressure anywhere in the 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range, and meters a fine oil mist into the line for downstream pneumatic tools and actuators. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GC family covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in up to 1 in, and each size can be ordered with a different filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um optional), drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), gauge style and scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) and a reverse/check valve. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF400-C1 filter, GR400-C1 regulator and GL400-C1 lubricator.
A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Feeding regulated, lubricated air to impact wrenches, air ratchets and clamping cylinders on a production line: the 5 um element strips water and particulate before they reach the tools, the regulator holds the set working pressure, and the lubricator keeps air motors running smoothly through the shift.
Supplying clamps, vises and swing cylinders on CNC and manual machine fixtures, where the check valve helps hold the set pressure against supply dips and the psi gauge gives the operator a direct readout at the machine.
Air preparation for carton sealers, case packers and diverting cylinders along a packaging conveyor, with the 5 um grade protecting valve spools and the oil mist lubricating the cylinders that cycle continuously through the run.
Start with size: the 200, 300, 400 and 600 bodies step up in port size and air capacity, so size the unit to the air demand of the machine rather than only to the existing pipe thread; this size 400 unit carries a 1/2 in port. Then choose the drain: a manual drain needs an operator to open it at intervals, while automatic and differential-pressure drains remove condensate without attention - this code uses a manual drain. The filter grade here is 5 um (code W) against the 40 um standard element, for finer protection of downstream equipment. The fitted gauge is the external round type with a psi scale; the embedded square gauge with MPa, psi or bar scale is the alternative. Thread is G (BSPP) on this code - PT is the standard thread and G or NPT are catalogue order options. Because flow for the GC series is published as curves and not as a single rating, send us your air demand and working pressure and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR400-C1 regulator with a GF400-C1 filter on that branch.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GC series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number on the page. Tell us your air demand and working pressure and we will confirm the flow and send the full datasheet for this unit on request.
This code carries a manual drain, so condensate collected in the filter bowl is emptied by opening the drain by hand at regular intervals. The same size 400 GC unit can be ordered with an automatic or differential-pressure drain if you want condensate removal without operator attention - just ask and we will confirm the alternative code.
