The AirTAC GFR200-06 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single compact body. This unit is the 200 size with a PT1/8 (1/8 in) PT port, built as the low-pressure type for circuits that run at reduced regulated pressure. It carries a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain bowl in PC (polycarbonate), and an external round gauge with a psi scale so operators can read and set downstream pressure directly. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard, G and NPT as order options) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a bench-top pneumatic press or clamping fixture fed from a small compressor, this filter regulator cleans the air of water and swarf and holds a low regulated pressure for gentle, repeatable clamping, with the psi gauge letting the setter dial in the setting.
For a lab test bench or pilot rig running instruments and small air cylinders at reduced pressure, the low-pressure type regulator with 40 um filtration protects sensitive devices, and the manual drain suits intermittent, supervised operation.
At a maintenance workshop drop feeding air tools and blow guns, this unit strips condensate and pipe-scale from the shop air line and lets the technician set a safe, low working pressure for hand-held tools, read directly on the round psi gauge.
Start with the size and port: the 200 size with a PT1/8 port suits the smallest lines; step up to 300, 400 or 600 where the circuit needs larger ports and more flow. Choose the drain to match maintenance: manual drain (this unit) is emptied by hand, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate with less attention. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify 5 um (code W) where finer filtration is needed. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit has a round gauge reading psi. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are available to order. A bracket is included; the J code deletes it. As the low-pressure type, this unit is intended for circuits regulated below standard range - ask us to confirm the exact adjustment range. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against the application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Tell us your application and line conditions and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the PC bowl is emptied by hand. It suits installations that are checked regularly. If the unit will run unattended, ask about the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain versions of the same GFR200 filter regulator.
