The AirTAC GFR200-06G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/8 Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06G combines filtration and pressure regulation in a single body: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and lets you set a stable downstream pressure. This configuration has a G1/8 (BSPP) port, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, a 40 um standard filter element, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) setting range with the manual drain fitted, and the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, drain types (manual, automatic or differential-pressure), a 5 um (W) filter element option, gauge scale options and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to a compact clamping cylinder on an assembly fixture, where the operator sets and holds a repeatable clamping pressure and drains the bowl during shift checks.
Sits at the point of use on a cartoning or labelling machine, cleaning water and debris out of the supply and holding a steady pressure to the machine's air valves.
Prepares the air feed for bench-top test rigs and sample-handling actuators, where a psi-reading gauge lets technicians verify set pressure at a glance and the manual drain is emptied between sessions.
Start with the port and size: the GFR200 is the compact frame, and the 1/8 in G-thread port suits small lines and point-of-use drops. If your demand sits above what a 200-size unit passes comfortably, step up to GFR300/400/600 rather than oversizing the regulator setting range. Choose the drain to match access: manual drain (this unit) needs someone to open the bowl, automatic drain suits unattended positions, and differential-pressure drain is the catalogue default. Filter grade is 40 um standard; specify the W option for 5 um when downstream equipment needs finer filtration. This unit carries a round gauge on a psi scale; square embedded gauges and MPa/bar scales are alternatives. Thread is G here, with PT standard and NPT orderable, and a mounting bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your line pressure, downstream demand and acceptable pressure drop, and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code means the polycarbonate bowl is emptied by hand: someone opens the drain at the bowl when condensate collects. That suits attended stations with regular checks. If the unit sits in an inaccessible or unattended position, choose the automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain (the catalogue default) instead - both are orderable options in the same GFR200 size.
