The AirTAC GFR200-06G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/8 Round Psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single compact body. This 200-size unit carries a G1/8 (BSPP) port, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough. The outlet pressure is set with the adjustment knob over the 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) range, and the fitted round gauge reads the regulated pressure in psi.
This is a genuine AirTAC part in the GFR filter-regulator line, which spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, optional 5 um (W) elements, automatic or manual drains, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT thread variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the inlet of a machine's control cabinet, the GFR200-06G cleans the air feeding directional valves and sets a stable working pressure for the whole logic circuit, with the psi gauge giving operators a visible setpoint.
On a compact CNC mill or pneumatic bench fixture, the 1/8 in G port and 40 um element condition the supply to air bearings, clamps and pilot valves, while the regulator holds the pressure the tooling was designed around.
On a skid where quarter-turn pneumatic actuators open and close process valves, this filter regulator delivers filtered air at a controlled pressure so actuator torque stays predictable, with the differential drain keeping condensate in check.
Start with the port and size step: the GFR200 with its G1/8 port suits the smallest branch lines, while 300, 400 and 600 sizes carry larger ports for higher air demand - match the step to the flow your circuit needs rather than upsizing blindly. For the drain, differential-pressure (this unit) needs no attention during operation; choose automatic (A) for continuous heavy condensate loads or manual (M) where you want scheduled draining. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W code for 5 um if downstream valves or instruments need finer filtration.
Gauge scale is selectable: this configuration has a round gauge in psi, with square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales available. Thread is G (BSPP) here, with PT and NPT variants orderable, and brackets are optional (this unit ships without one). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number on the page. Tell us your line pressure, downstream demand and acceptable pressure drop, and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this exact model on request before you order.
The C2 code in GFR200-06JC2G specifies the optional external round gauge with a psi scale, instead of the standard embedded square gauge; MPa and bar scales are available on other variants. The drain position is blank in the code, which means the differential-pressure drain: condensate is expelled automatically when the pressure differential across the 40 um element rises, so no manual draining is needed during normal operation.
