The AirTAC GFR200-06JC2W AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06JC2W is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, in one compact body. This 200-size unit is threaded PT1/8 and carries a 5 um filter element (the finer W grade, versus the standard 40 um), a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate as air passes through, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options for manual or automatic drains, 5 um filtration, G or NPT threads, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and a reverse/check valve. Rated inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air keeps workholding clamps on a CNC machining centre closing at a consistent set pressure, and the 5 um element stops fine swarf and water carry-over reaching the clamp cylinders.
On a carton-sealing or wrapping line, this unit conditions the air feeding small pneumatic actuators, holding the set pressure so seal and pusher cylinders cycle evenly through a full shift.
Benchtop pneumatic test rigs and lab instruments fed from a shop compressor get clean, moisture-reduced air at a stable set pressure, with the local psi gauge giving a direct readout at the bench.
Start with the port size: this unit is PT1/8, and the GFR series steps up through 200/300/400/600 to 1 inch as air demand grows - match the port step to the flow your line needs rather than upsizing blindly. The 5 um W-grade element suits air feeding sensitive valves, instruments or spray equipment; the standard 40 um grade is the choice for general shop-air supply. The round psi gauge is fitted here; square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the alternatives. PT thread is standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order, and this configuration comes without a mounting bracket. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet before you order.
The W code on this model specifies the finer 5 um element. Choose it when the downstream equipment - precision valves, instruments or spray nozzles - needs cleaner air than the standard 40 um grade provides. If your line runs general shop air, the standard 40 um versions of the same series are the simpler choice.
