The AirTAC GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 1/8 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in one compact body. This unit is built on the 200 size with a 1/8 in NPT port, the finer 5 um filter element, a manual drain on the PC bowl, and an embedded square gauge reading in MPa. The regulating range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), the maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the drop feeding a CNC machining centre's pneumatic valves and tool-clamp circuit, this filter regulator cleans the shop air of water and swarf-carrying particulate and holds a steady regulated pressure so clamps and actuators behave consistently shift after shift.
On a pneumatic press or fixture line, this unit conditions the supply to the clamping cylinders: the 5 um element protects the directional valves from dirt and condensed water, while the regulator holds the clamp pressure the operator has set on the square MPa gauge.
Feeding the gripper and pusher cylinders on a packaging conveyor line, this filter regulator keeps moisture and fine particles out of the small control valves and maintains a stable working pressure, with the manual drain letting maintenance bleed the bowl at planned stops.
Step up through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 (ports 1/8 in to 1 in) as your flow demand grows; the published curves, not a single rating, are the sizing reference. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (this unit) for periodic bleeding, or automatic or differential-pressure where the unit sits in a hard-to-reach spot. Pick 40 um for general protection or 5 um (this unit) for finer downstream components. Gauges come as the embedded square type or an optional external round gauge, in MPa, psi or bar scales. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as orderable options (this unit is NPT), and a mounting bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and application details, and we will confirm the datasheet curves and correct size on request.
The W code selects the finer 5 um filter element (40 um is the standard grade), giving cleaner air for sensitive downstream components. The M code selects a manual drain: open the drain valve periodically to bleed collected water from the PC bowl. Automatic and differential-pressure drains are available on other GFR variants if you prefer hands-off drainage.
