The AirTAC GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 1/8 in, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single compact body. This 200-size unit is fitted with 1/8 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, and a manual drain that you open by hand to expel collected condensate. It is supplied without a gauge and without a mounting bracket, and no reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl keeps the collected water and the element visible for inspection.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT, G and NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filter grades, gauge choices and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning ahead of a directional-valve manifold on a packaging machine: the 5 um element keeps pilot spools clean and the regulator holds a steady actuation pressure from the shop air main.
Feeding filtered, regulated air to the tool-change clamp and air-blast circuit of a small CNC machining centre, where the 1/8 in NPT ports suit compact drop lines off the main distribution.
Conditioning the supply to hand-held impact drivers and nutrunners at an assembly bench, with the manual drain emptied as part of the shift-start routine and the 5 um element protecting tool motors.
Choose the GFR200-06T when your line needs 1/8 in NPT connections and finer-than-standard filtration: the 5 um element (code W) suits air tools, instrumentation and components that suffer from finer contamination, while the standard grade is 40 um. The manual drain means an operator opens the bowl drain periodically - pick the automatic or differential-pressure drain variant instead if nobody is on site to do that. A gauge is not fitted on this code; gauge options with MPa, psi or bar scales can be ordered if a visual setpoint is needed. PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are order options, and this code is the NPT version. A bracket is not included on this code.
Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we cannot honestly quote one figure here. Send us your required flow and pressure and we will confirm the datasheet curves against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the datasheet curves and check the 200-size unit against your application before you order.
The code GFR20006MJNWT decodes M as a manual drain, which you open by hand to release collected condensate, and N as no gauge fitted. If you need automatic draining or a visual pressure reading, ask us about the equivalent codes with automatic or differential-pressure drains and with a square or round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales.
