The AirTAC GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, all in one compact body. This unit is built on the size-200 frame with a 1/8 in NPT port, uses the standard 40 um filter element, and drains collected condensate by hand through its manual drain. It is the low-pressure regulator type, comes fitted with an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and includes a mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR series, which spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in and PT, G or NPT thread options. Across the range you can also specify automatic or differential-pressure drains, 5 um filtration instead of the standard 40 um, and MPa or bar gauge scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a machining centre, pneumatic clamps often need a holding pressure well below line pressure. This filter regulator cleans the supply air and lets the setter dial in the clamp circuit pressure and read it on the psi gauge.
Paint spray guns and atomizing air lines run at reduced, closely held pressure. A filter regulator at the booth supply keeps water and grit out of the finish while the manual drain lets the operator bleed the bowl at shift end.
Lab analysers and small test rigs fed from a shop air header need filtered air at a gentle, stable pressure. The low-pressure type with a 1/8 in NPT port suits compact instrument panels, and the bracket mounts it to the frame.
Size the unit by port and required flow: the 200 frame carries a 1/8 in port, while the 300, 400 and 600 frames step up in port size and capacity. This configuration drains manually - if you cannot bleed the bowl by hand as part of routine maintenance, choose the automatic (A) or differential-pressure drain version instead. The 40 um element is standard; specify the W code for 5 um filtration when finer cleaning is needed. The square gauge here reads psi, and MPa or bar scales can be ordered; PT and G threads are alternatives to NPT. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number that could mislead your sizing. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M code in GFR20006MLF2T means condensate is drained by hand from the bowl, which suits stations visited during routine maintenance. If the unit will be left unattended, the same series is available with an automatic drain (code A) or a differential-pressure drain (the default), which bleeds the bowl automatically.
