The AirTAC GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one compact body. This 200-size unit has a 1/8 in NPT port, a manual drain bowl in PC (polycarbonate), a 40 um standard filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type. It is fitted with an external round gauge scaled in psi, and no mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options, manual or automatic drains, a 5 um (code W) filter element, gauge and thread choices, and standard or low-pressure regulation. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a small assembly fixture, the GFR200-06T filters the shop air and holds a reduced, low-pressure setting so light-duty clamps grip parts without crushing them.
At a lab bench or test station, this unit cleans the compressed air of water and debris and lets a technician dial in a low regulated pressure for sensitive instruments or air bearings.
On a carton-sealing line, the unit feeds a low-pressure air knife or assist cylinder, with the psi gauge giving the operator a visible setpoint and the manual drain clearing collected moisture at shift checks.
Start with the port: this unit is 1/8 in NPT, the smallest in the GFR range, so step up to size 300, 400 or 600 if your line needs more flow capacity - we confirm sizing from the published flow curves before you order. Drain choice matters: the manual drain here needs periodic bleeding by an operator, while automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended installations. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify code W for 5 um where finer filtration is required. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the alternative. NPT is the thread on this code; G (BSPP) and PT are the other catalogue options. This is the low-pressure regulator type - its exact range is not published, so confirm it with us - and no mounting bracket is included with this code.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet curves before you order.
The M in the code GFR20006MLJC2T specifies a manual drain bowl: moisture collected by the 40 um filter must be bled off by hand at intervals. If the installation runs unattended, ask us about the same size with an automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain instead.
