The AirTAC GFR200-06T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-06T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in one compact body. This 200-size unit is fitted with a 1/8 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain bowl in polycarbonate, and an embedded square gauge scaled in MPa. The standard regulator covers a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) setting range with manual drain, and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as standard thread and G or NPT as order options, plus automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (code W) element, gauge scale choices and a reverse/check valve where the code calls for them. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clamp cylinders on a small assembly press: the GFR200-06T strips water and chips from the shop-air drop and holds a steady clamp pressure so the cycle stays repeatable, with the MPa gauge giving the operator a direct setpoint readout.
Conditioning the air ahead of directional valves and cylinders on a cartoning or bagging line: clean, regulated air at the 1/8 in takeoff protects valve spools from moisture and debris, and the manual drain suits a machine serviced every shift.
Regulating shop air to a test bench or pilot-scale rig where instruments and small actuators need a stable, filtered supply: the compact 200-size body, 1/8 in NPT connection and visible MPa gauge make set-and-check adjustments straightforward.
Start with the port step: this unit is 1/8 in NPT on a 200-size body, so match it to line size and the flow your circuit needs as you move up through 300, 400 and 600. On drain, manual means someone opens the bowl drain periodically - choose automatic or differential-pressure if the installation is unattended. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the 5 um W code when finer particulate removal matters. The embedded square gauge here is scaled in MPa, with psi or bar scales and an external round gauge available as options. PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are catalogue options ordered by code, as is the no-bracket J variant. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your line pressure and the flow your application needs, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collects in the polycarbonate bowl and is released by opening the drain, which suits installations checked as part of a routine. If the unit will run unattended, order the A code for an automatic drain or leave the position blank for the differential-pressure drain. Manual-drain units also carry the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range.
