The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in PT, psi gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 200-size unit is threaded PT1/4 (1/4 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element, and drains condensate by differential pressure, so the bowl purges as the pressure differential across the element builds. A square pressure gauge scaled in psi is fitted, and a reverse (check) valve is installed, holding downstream pressure if the upstream supply is lost.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and MPa, psi or bar gauge scales. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the regulation range with differential-pressure drain is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures against your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fit at the point where a 1/4 in branch line feeds workstations, so the air is filtered of water and chips and held at the set pressure the tools and actuators were sized for.
Supply a small pneumatic clamp or bench press circuit, where the regulator holds a repeatable setpoint and the check valve keeps the circuit from venting if the main supply drops.
Feed solenoid valves and air cylinders on packaging or conveyor lines, with the 40 um element protecting valve seals from particulate and the psi gauge giving operators a visible setpoint.
Start with the port step: this unit is 1/4 in PT on the 200 size; step up to 300, 400 or 600 for larger ports and higher flow capacity. The drain here is differential-pressure (the default); choose automatic for hands-off purging or manual where you want controlled draining. The 40 um element suits general plant air; specify the W variant for 5 um when downstream equipment needs finer filtration. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options. A mounting bracket is not included with the J code.
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not a single rated figure, so we cannot quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet and check the 200 size against your requirement before you order.
K is the reverse (check) valve code: this unit is fitted with one, so downstream pressure is held if the upstream supply fails. Units without the K code have no check valve. It is a decodable order option on GFR units, alongside drain type, filter grade, gauge scale and thread.
