The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator, G1/4, 5 um, psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200 is a compact filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single body. This GFR200-08 configuration has a G1/4 (BSPP) port, a 5 um filter element for finer air quality, a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and an integrated reverse (check) valve; it is supplied without a mounting bracket. With the manual drain, the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series filter regulator line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um standard or 5 um elements, square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. The working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered and regulated air for pneumatic clamps and tool-change cylinders on a machining centre, with the 5 um element protecting close-tolerance valve internals and the psi gauge giving operators a local setpoint readout.
Clean, steady pressure for diverters, pushers and gripper actuators along a bottling or carton line, where the check valve holds the circuit against backflow and the manual drain suits a line checked at every shift.
Instrument air supply for test benches and pilot-scale rigs, where the 5 um grade and fine regulation keep sensors and small control valves stable and the compact 200 body fits crowded panels.
Size the unit by body and port: 200 is the compact step with a 1/4 in port here, and you step up to 300, 400 or 600 when the application demands more flow. Choose the drain to match maintenance routines: this manual drain needs periodic bleeding by hand, while automatic or differential-pressure drain versions in the same series suit unattended installations. The 5 um element (code W) fits valves, cylinders and instrumentation that need cleaner air than the 40 um standard. The embedded square gauge on this unit reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are order options. Thread is G (BSPP) here, with PT as the standard and NPT available to order, and a mounting bracket is optional (omitted on this configuration). Because rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your flow and upstream/downstream pressure conditions and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
This GFR200-08 carries code M, meaning the polycarbonate bowl is drained by hand at intervals. It suits installations that are inspected regularly. If the unit will sit unattended, the same series is available with an automatic or differential-pressure drain instead.
