The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT 1/4 in, MPa Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR200-08 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single compact body. This size 200 unit has NPT 1/4 in ports, the standard 40 um filtration grade, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough. The square pressure gauge is fitted and reads in MPa, and a reverse/check valve is built in so downstream pressure is held if the upstream supply drops. The polycarbonate bowl suits this size, and the mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjustment range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator line is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option, gauge scale choices and a low-pressure regulator type. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaning water and chips-laden debris out of the shop-air line and holding a steady regulated pressure to the machine's pneumatic tool changers and clamps, with the check valve holding settings through brief supply dips.
Feeding filtered, regulated air to the cylinders that divert, push and stop product on a packaging conveyor, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate from travelling downstream into the valves.
Conditioning the air at individual drop points in a textile mill so looms and winding heads receive dry, particle-free air at a set pressure, with the MPa gauge giving operators a local reading.
Start with the port step: size 200 with 1/4 in NPT ports suits lighter-duty lines; step up to size 300, 400 or 600 when the circuit needs more flow capacity. Choose the drain to match maintenance access: differential-pressure (this unit) drains itself on demand, an automatic drain (code A) empties continuously, and a manual drain (code M) is emptied by hand. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W option for 5 um when downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauges are available in square (fitted here, MPa scale) or external round style, with MPa, psi or bar scales. Threads come as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT as order options, and a bracket is included for panel or wall mounting. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so there is no one l/min or SCFM figure we can quote. Send us your application's flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
This unit's differential-pressure drain discharges collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the filter element rises, so no manual draining is needed under normal duty. If you prefer a fully automatic drain or a manual drain, those are available as order options (codes A and M) in the same size.
