The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT1/4, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single 200-size body. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, a manual drain bowl in PC (polycarbonate), a 40 um standard filter element, a round pressure gauge with MPa scale, and a mounting bracket included. With manual drainage, an operator opens the bowl drain to discharge collected condensate, which suits installations inspected on a regular schedule.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options including automatic or differential-pressure drainage, a 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP), NPT or PT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bench-mounted pneumatic press or clamp cylinder: the GFR200-08 strips water and chips from the shop-air drop and holds a steady set pressure so the press cycles consistently, with the manual drain emptied at each shift check.
On a carton-sealing or wrapping conveyor, this unit conditions the 1/4 in branch feeding seal jaws and diverters, keeping moisture out of the valves while the regulator pins the pressure that sets seal force.
Mounted at a maintenance-shop air drop with the included bracket, it filters rust and water from the header line and lets the technician dial in the pressure for impact wrenches, riveters and blow-off stations.
Start with the port and size: this unit is 200 size with a 1/4 in NPT port, and larger sizes (300/400/600) carry larger ports and more flow capacity, so step up if your line demand is high. Choose the drain to match maintenance routines: manual (this unit) needs an operator visit, automatic drains itself, and differential-pressure drains when the element loads up. Filter grade is 40 um standard here; specify the 5 um W element where downstream equipment needs finer filtration. Gauge scale is MPa on this unit (psi and bar scales are orderable), and the thread can be ordered as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT. A bracket is included; the J code omits it.
Before ordering, send us your application: flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so we will confirm sizing against your air demand from the datasheet.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves before you order. What we can state now: 200 size with a 1/4 in NPT port, max inlet pressure 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and a regulation range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) for this manual-drain version.
The M in the code GFR20008MC1T specifies a manual drain: collected condensate is released by opening the bowl drain, which suits stations checked on a regular maintenance round. If the installation is not visited often, order the same GFR200-08 with the A code for an automatic drain, or leave the position blank for differential-pressure drainage. The bowl is PC (polycarbonate) at this size, and the unit operates from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
