The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT1/4, psi Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This size 200 unit has a 1/4 in NPT port, 40 um standard filtration, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as the pressure differential across the element builds, and a round pressure gauge scaled in psi. The regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge style and scale options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning on a machining centre: the 40 um element strips water and swarf-carrying particulate before the air reaches tool-change and clamping circuits, while the regulator holds a steady set pressure for consistent clamp force.
Feeding cylinders and diverters on a packaging conveyor: clean, regulated air keeps pick-and-place and pusher strokes repeatable through the shift, and the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate moving without operator visits.
A bench-side drop from the workshop ring main: the GFR200-08 gives each assembly station its own filtered, psi-gauged pressure setting, isolated from pressure swings elsewhere in the plant.
Start with the port size: this unit is 1/4 in NPT, and the GFR range steps up through sizes 300, 400 and 600 for larger ports and higher flow. Choose the drain to suit access: differential-pressure (this unit) needs no attention, automatic drains continuously, and manual suits infrequently visited points. Pick 40 um for general protection or the 5 um (W) grade where finer filtration matters. Gauge style is embedded square (standard) or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scales; this unit carries a round psi gauge. Threads are PT as standard, with G and NPT as order options, and a mounting bracket is optional (not fitted on this code).
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR range as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant datasheet flow figures on request before you order.
The differential-pressure drain (standard on this code) bleeds collected condensate out of the bowl automatically as the pressure differential across the filter element builds, with no operator action. If you prefer a set-and-forget continuous drain, choose the automatic (A) option; if the unit sits where you inspect it regularly, the manual (M) drain is the simplest choice.
