The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Square Bar Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08 is a 200-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and sets downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 1/4 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, and an embedded square gauge scaled in bar for direct setting. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the unit operates from -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The polycarbonate bowl keeps the condensate level visible at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale, thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) and bracket. Flow figures for the series are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bench-mounted pneumatic press or clamping fixture, where the 40 um element keeps scale and pipe debris out of the valve stack and the regulator holds a steady setting for consistent forming force.
Conditioning the air feed to spray guns and air-assisted applicators, where water carry-over ruins finishes and the square bar gauge lets the operator set and verify gun supply pressure at a glance.
Supplying cylinders and air cylinders on a packaging or cartoning line, where the differential-pressure drain clears condensate during continuous running and regulated pressure keeps sealing and indexing strokes repeatable.
Size the GFR200-08 by stepping port size against the air demand of the circuit: 200 is the compact frame with a 1/4 in port here, and larger sizes (300/400/600) carry larger ports and higher flow. This unit uses the differential-pressure drain, which suits continuously flowing lines; choose a manual-drain code for intermittent use or an automatic-drain code where unattended condensate removal is wanted. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the W suffix for 5 um when finer protection is needed. The square gauge here reads in bar, and MPa or psi scales are available as alternative codes. Thread is NPT in this code, with PT standard and G available to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for the 200 size on request before you order.
This code has the differential-pressure drain as its default: condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl is discharged automatically as air flows through the unit, with no operator action. If your line runs intermittently, a manual-drain code or an automatic-drain code can be ordered instead - just ask for the alternative GFR200 variant.
