The AirTAC GFR200-08 AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Square Gauge MPa is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08 is a 200-size filter regulator that cleans compressed air and holds downstream pressure in one compact body. It removes water and particulate down to 40 um, regulates between 0.15 and 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and drains collected condensate automatically whenever the differential pressure across the drain opens it - no daily manual draining. The 1/4 in NPT port suits standard US pipework, the polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance, and the fitted embedded square gauge reads outlet pressure in MPa.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR200 series, one of four sizes (200/300/400/600) with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in and options including 5 um filtration, manual or automatic drains, psi or bar gauge scales, an external round gauge, and a reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, pressure-stable air to a machining-centre clamping circuit, where the 40 um element keeps chips-laden condensate out of the clamp cylinders and the regulator holds a consistent clamping pressure.
Supplies filtered and regulated air to the pick-and-place and sealing cylinders on a packaging conveyor, with the differential-pressure drain clearing moisture without an operator stopping the line.
A point-of-use filter regulator at an assembly bench, giving each station its own 1/4 in NPT supply, local pressure setting read on the square gauge, and protection from water and pipe-scale debris.
Size 200 with a 1/4 in NPT port is the entry point of the GFR range; if your line draws more air, step up to GFR300/400/600 for larger ports and higher flow capacity. Choose the drain to match maintenance habits: this unit's differential-pressure drain works unattended, the A code gives fully automatic draining, and the M code gives a manual drain for infrequently visited installations. The standard 40 um element protects most actuators and valves; specify W for 5 um where finer protection matters. The fitted square gauge reads in MPa; psi (scale 2) and bar (scale 3) are order options, as is an external round gauge. This J-coded unit ships without a mounting bracket - add one if you want the unit secured independent of the pipework. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your air demand and we will confirm the correct size against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM figure. Tell us your air demand and line pressure and we will confirm the correct size and the datasheet flow curve for the GFR200-08 on request before you order.
This unit's differential-pressure drain opens to expel condensate when the water level and airflow create enough pressure difference across it, so it needs no daily attention. If you prefer a set-and-forget solution choose the A (automatic) code, or the M (manual) code where you want to drain by hand at inspection; note the manual-drain version also widens the regulation range down to 0.05 MPa.
