The AirTAC GFR200-08L AirTAC Filter Regulator, G1/4, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08L is a compact filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 200-size unit has a G1/4 (BSPP) port, the standard 40 um filter element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the filter is high enough, so no manual draining routine is needed. The bowl on this size is polycarbonate (PC), giving a clear view of condensate level. It is the low-pressure (L) type, intended where regulated pressure must sit well below the standard range, and it comes with a round pressure gauge reading in psi. No mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family runs from size 200 up to 600, with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, an optional 5 um (code W) element, gauge scale options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm flow or any other datasheet figure against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Packaging machines often run clamp and hold-down cylinders at low regulated pressure so product is secured without crushing. This filter regulator cleans the shop air and holds that low setpoint in one compact body, with the psi gauge letting an operator verify the setting at a glance.
Dust and moisture blow-off stations over conveyor lines work best at low, stable air pressure. Fed from plant supply, this unit filters water and particulate before the nozzles and regulates down to the gentle pressure the product needs, while the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate from reaching the nozzles.
Analytical instruments, sample handlers and pneumatic actuators in lab skids need clean, low-pressure air. This G1/4 filter regulator conditions the supply line, the 40 um element stops particulate reaching sensitive components, and the round psi gauge documents the operating pressure.
Start with the port and size step: 200 is the smallest GFR frame, and moving to 300, 400 or 600 buys a larger port and more flow capacity, so size up if your demand is near the top of a 200-size curve. This unit is the low-pressure (L) type; its exact adjustment range is not published on the sheet we work from, so confirm it with us if your setpoint matters. Drain choice is real: differential-pressure (this unit, zero-maintenance), automatic (positive timed bleed-off), or manual (you drain the bowl yourself). The element is 40 um standard; specify the W code for 5 um where finer filtration is needed. Gauge scale is selectable (MPa, psi or bar); this unit ships with a round psi gauge. Thread: PT is the AirTAC standard, while G (BSPP) and NPT are orderable options - this unit is the G version. Brackets are optional; this configuration omits one.
One honest note before you order: flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so there is no one number we can quote. Send us your application and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves before you commit.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so there is no one number we can honestly quote. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
L marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended for setpoints well below the standard range; the exact adjustment range is not published on our sheet, so confirm it with us. The drain is differential-pressure: condensate collected in the PC bowl is bled off automatically when the pressure differential across the filter rises, with no manual draining required.
