The AirTAC GFR200-08T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in NPT, psi gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08T is a size-200 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 1/4 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. The standard-type regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits the 200 size, and no mounting bracket is fitted in this version.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, plus a choice of drain type, 5 um (W) filtration, gauge scale and reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to a clamping cylinder or pneumatic press on a fabrication cell, where the operator sets holding pressure on the psi gauge and the differential drain keeps condensate out of the valve stack.
Point-of-use air preparation for carton sealers and wrapping machines, where the 40 um element protects directional valves and cylinders and the regulator holds consistent actuation pressure line by line.
Mounted at the machine inlet of a CNC or assembly station, providing one filtered and regulated supply for tool-change actuators and air blasts, with the psi gauge giving the operator a visible setpoint.
Start with the port step: this unit is the 200 size with a 1/4 in NPT port, and the GFR range steps up through 300, 400 and 600 for larger ports and higher flow demand. Choose the drain to match the installation: the differential-pressure drain on this unit needs no operator attention, while automatic (A) and manual (M) versions are order options. The standard 40 um element suits general air preparation; specify the W option for 5 um filtration where downstream equipment needs finer protection. The square gauge on this unit reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are also available. Thread is NPT here, with PT standard and G (BSPP) as alternatives, and a bracket can be ordered where the J no-bracket version does not suit the mounting. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The trailing T in the code specifies the NPT thread option (1/4 in on this 200-size unit); PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also available to order. The J in the code means no mounting bracket is fitted - a bracket version is available if your panel needs one.
