The AirTAC GFR200-08T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4, Square Bar Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR200-08T is a size 200 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, a 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain, a standard regulator with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, and an embedded square gauge scaled in bar. The polycarbonate bowl suits use from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and a mounting bracket is included.
GFR200 is the smallest size in AirTAC's GFR filter-regulator range, which steps up through 300, 400 and 600 with larger ports and more flow. This is a genuine AirTAC part. Thread options G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue choices alongside the PT standard, and drain type, filter grade and gauge scale can all be specified when ordering. Flow for the GFR series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning and regulating the air feeding directional control valves on a packaging line, so cylinders and actuators see clean, dry air at a steady setpoint.
A point-of-use filter regulator ahead of the cylinders that divert, stop and index product on conveyor systems, keeping water and debris out of the valve bank.
Supplying regulated air to clamps, tool-changers and air blasts on a CNC machining centre, where a stable downstream pressure protects the machine's pneumatic circuits.
Choose the size by the port and flow your line needs: GFR200 is the 1/4 in step in the 200/300/400/600 range. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. Drain type is a real choice: differential-pressure (this model), automatic, or manual - and the adjustment range differs, 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with auto or differential drain versus 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with manual. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W; the square gauge can be ordered with MPa, psi or bar scale; thread is PT standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options. A bracket is included; code J deletes it.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the sizing and the flow curve from the datasheet on request.
On this differential-pressure-drain model the regulator adjusts 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). The manual-drain version of the same size widens the range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), which matters when you need a very low setpoint - it is a real decode choice, not a variation of the same unit.
