The AirTAC GFR20006MC2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR20006MC2WT is a 200-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 1/8 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain on the PC bowl, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. It regulates from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), accepts a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and operates from -5 to 70 C in non-freezing conditions. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, threads (PT standard, G and NPT as order options), drain types, filter grades and gauge styles. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaning and regulating the shop-air feed that actuates tool clamps, tool changers and pneumatic gates on a machining centre, with the 5 um element protecting fine pilot valves.
Conditioning air for diverters, pushers and sealing jaws on a packaging conveyor, where the manual drain suits a line vented at each shift and the psi gauge gives operators a local setpoint readout.
Regulating clamp and gripper pressure at individual workstations on an assembly line, keeping actuator force consistent while the filter removes water carried over from the main ring main.
Size and port set the capacity: the 200 size with a 1/8 in port suits compact supply drops, while 300, 400 and 600 sizes step up in port and flow capacity. Drain type is a real choice here: this unit has a manual drain, which suits installations where someone can vent the bowl periodically; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available on other variants. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer option against the 40 um standard - choose it where downstream valves and cylinders need cleaner air. The gauge on this unit is an external round type reading in psi; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the other catalogue options. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is the standard and G is also available to order. A mounting bracket is included.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one rated flow number we can quote. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code means the PC bowl is drained by hand: someone opens the drain to vent collected water. It suits installations that are checked regularly. If the unit is mounted where it cannot be reached or runs unattended, an automatic or differential-pressure drain variant is the better choice.
