GFR20006MF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8

The AirTAC GFR20006MF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR20006MF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8

The GFR20006MF3T is an AirTAC GFR200 filter regulator: a single body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and reduces the downstream pressure to the level your equipment needs. This 200-size unit has a 1/8 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, and a square gauge reading in bar. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GFR20006MF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8

GFR200G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range.
06Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4".
MDrain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
FGauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square.
3Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

  • GFR300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GFR400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GFR600PT3/4" - PT1"

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR20006MF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 Is Used

valve

Pneumatic valve stations on packaging machines

Feeds clean, pressure-reduced air to solenoid valve manifolds on form-fill-seal and cartoning lines, where the 40 um element protects valve internals and the bar gauge lets operators set and check the working pressure at the machine.

precision_manufacturing

Air prep for CNC machine tool circuits

Installed ahead of clamping fixtures and tool-change cylinders on a machining centre, conditioning the shop air and holding a stable regulated pressure so clamping and actuation behave consistently shift after shift.

factory

Assembly-line air cylinders and actuators

Mounted at the drop of a production line to filter and regulate the supply to air cylinders, grippers and rotary actuators, with the manual drain letting maintenance bleed accumulated condensate during scheduled rounds.

Is the GFR20006MF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 the Right Unit?

Start with the port and size: this 200-size unit has a 1/8 in NPT port, and larger sizes (300/400/600) step up in port and flow capacity. Drain type is a real choice on this family: manual drain (as fitted here) means someone bleeds the bowl, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify the W option for 5 um where finer protection is needed. The embedded square gauge is standard (this unit reads in bar; MPa and psi scales are available) and an external round gauge is optional. Threads come as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT, and a mounting bracket is included.

Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated number, ask us to confirm sizing against your air consumption before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR20006MF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number. Tell us your application and air consumption and we will confirm the sizing and the datasheet flow curve for you on request.

The M in the code GFR20006MF3T specifies a manual drain, so condensate collected in the bowl is released by hand. The GFR family also offers an automatic drain (code A) and a differential-pressure drain (blank) that discharge condensate without manual attention - useful where the unit is installed in a hard-to-reach position.
