The AirTAC GFR20006MJF2T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/8 NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR20006MJF2T is a GFR200-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single compact body. This configuration is the size 200 unit with a 1/8 in NPT port, a manual drain bowl in PC (polycarbonate), a standard 40 um filter element, and the embedded square gauge scaled in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with this manual-drain version, and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). No mounting bracket is fitted and no reverse/check valve is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT (standard), G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um (code W) filter grades, and gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, pressure-regulated air fed to the tool-clamping cylinders of a small CNC machining centre, where a stable set pressure protects the clamping sequence.
Point-of-use air preparation for the pneumatic flap-fold and tape-head cylinders on a packaging line's carton sealer, with the manual drain emptied at shift checks.
Regulated air to the gripper cylinders of a compact assembly robot, where the 40 um element keeps debris out of the directional valves downstream.
Start with the port size: this unit is 1/8 in NPT, the smallest step in the GFR range, so step up to size 300, 400 or 600 if the line needs more flow capacity. Choose the drain to match maintenance access: manual (this unit, with the widest 0.05-0.9 MPa adjustment range), automatic, or the differential-pressure default. The standard element is 40 um; specify code W for 5 um where finer filtration is needed. The embedded square gauge is fitted here in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are options. PT is the standard thread and G or NPT are ordered as coded options; a bracket can be added where this J-coded, bracketless unit needs panel fixing.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR200 series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min or SCFM figure. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain bowl: condensate is emptied by hand at service intervals. The GFR family also offers an automatic drain (code A) and a differential-pressure drain (the default, no code). Note the regulator adjustment range differs by drain type: manual-drain units adjust 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), while automatic and differential-pressure versions adjust 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
