The AirTAC GFR20006MLC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/8 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/8" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR20006MLC2T is a GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This 200-size unit is fitted with a 1/8 in NPT port, the low-pressure regulator type, a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, and a round pressure gauge with a psi scale. A mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drain, a 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) element, gauge style and scale options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR200 | G-series filter regulator, 200 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 06 | Port size PT1/8". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered air with a gentle, low-pressure regulated supply to clamping cylinders on a workholding fixture, protecting delicate parts from over-clamping while the manual drain keeps condensate out of the circuit.
A bench-scale test rig or sample-handling manifold where clean, low-pressure regulated air is needed for actuating small cylinders or valves, with the round psi gauge giving a direct reading at the bench.
Supplying a paint or coating spray gun with filtered, low-pressure regulated air so the finish is not spoiled by water or debris, and the operator can read and hold the set pressure on the psi gauge.
Start with the size and port: the 200 size with its 1/8 in port suits compact branch lines and individual actuators, while larger sizes carry more flow - match the step to your demand rather than oversizing. This code specifies the low-pressure regulator type; its exact adjustment range is not published, so ask us to confirm it against your setpoint before ordering. The manual drain means someone bleeds the bowl periodically; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain if the unit is hard to reach. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify W for the 5 um element where finer filtration is needed. The round gauge here reads in psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. Thread is NPT in this code; PT (standard) and G are order options, and a no-bracket variant (code J) exists.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: the bowl is bled by hand, which suits points that are easy to reach and checked regularly. If the unit will be mounted where it cannot be attended, order the same model with an automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain instead - the drain choice is a decodable option on GFR units.
