The AirTAC GFR20008C2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4, Round Gauge is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR20008C2GK is a size-200 GFR filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in one compact body. This unit is fitted with a G1/4 (BSPP) port, a 40 um standard filter element and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element rises. A round pressure gauge on a psi scale lets you read and set the outlet pressure directly, and the built-in reverse (check) valve holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply is lost.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (code W) fine-filter element option, square or round gauges on MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT thread options. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet numbers for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bench-mounted pneumatic press, the GFR20008C2GK cleans the shop air to 40 um, holds a steady clamping pressure on the gauge, and the check valve keeps the press from creeping if the main supply drops.
On a packaging line the filter regulator supplies clean, regulated air to the flap-fold and taping cylinders, while the differential-pressure drain clears condensate carried over from the compressor ring main.
For bench-top lab equipment driven by air cylinders, this unit filters water and pipe scale out of the supply, lets the operator set and read outlet pressure in psi, and protects the set pressure with the built-in check valve.
For this GFR200 configuration you have already chosen the size-200 body with a G1/4 port, the 40 um standard filter grade, the differential-pressure drain, a round psi-scale gauge and the reverse/check valve. If your line needs finer filtration, the W option gives a 5 um element; if you prefer to service the bowl on a schedule, a manual or fully automatic drain can be ordered instead. Gauges are also available as the embedded square type on MPa or bar scales, and the same unit can be ordered with PT or NPT threads or without the check valve.
Sizing note: AirTAC publishes GFR flow as performance curves, not a single rated figure, so the right size depends on your actual air demand at working pressure. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the correct size against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the datasheet curve for this exact unit on request before you order.
K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted. It holds the regulated downstream pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted, which is useful on circuits where a sudden loss of pressure would dump a clamp or stop a cycle. The same unit is available without the check valve if you do not need it.
