The AirTAC GFR20008JC2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/4, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR20008JC2GK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in a single 200-size body. This unit is fitted with a G1/4 (BSPP) port, a 40 um standard filtration element, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically whenever the pressure drop across the element is high enough. The round external gauge reads in psi, and a reverse/check valve is fitted so downstream pressure is held if the upstream supply drops. No mounting bracket is included with this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, and G, NPT or PT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to a machining centre's pneumatic tool-clamp and chip-clearing circuits, with the check valve holding clamp pressure through brief supply dips.
Conditioning the air that actuates diverters and pushers on a packaging conveyor, where the 40 um element protects directional valves from water and debris.
A regulated, filtered drop at an assembly bench running air tools and small cylinders, with the psi gauge giving operators a direct local pressure readout.
Size and port set the capacity: the 200 size with a 1/4 in G thread suits compact drops and point-of-use supply; step up to 300, 400 or 600 when the line grows. Drain type is a real choice here - differential-pressure (this unit) needs no attention but only clears condensate on pressure drop, while automatic drains continuously and manual drains give full control. Filtration is 40 um standard; specify the W suffix for 5 um where finer protection matters. The gauge on this unit reads psi; MPa and bar scales are also available, and the embedded square gauge is the standard alternative to this round external type. Thread is G (BSPP) here, with PT as the catalogue standard and NPT orderable. Brackets are optional - this configuration ships without one.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for this 200-size, 1/4 in unit before you order.
The blank drain code on this model means a differential-pressure drain: condensate is discharged automatically when the pressure drop across the filter element rises. If you want continuous draining, the A suffix gives an automatic drain; the M suffix gives a manual drain. Note the regulator adjustment range depends on drain type: 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) for this differential-pressure unit, while manual-drain versions adjust from 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
