The AirTAC GFR20008JC3T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR20008JC3T is a GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, both jobs done in one compact body. This configuration is the size 200 frame with a 1/4 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filtration element, and a differential-pressure drain that clears condensate as air flows through. A round pressure gauge reading in bar is fitted so the set pressure is visible at the panel, and the polycarbonate bowl lets you check the condensate level at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family runs from size 200 up to 600, with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um filtration, and PT, G or NPT threads to order. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the standard regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Flow and other datasheet figures are confirmed on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Placed ahead of the clamping valves on a CNC fixture circuit, this unit strips water and chips-carried moisture from the shop air line and holds a steady clamp pressure so workholding does not creep during a cut.
Mounted at the drop point feeding the cylinders on a carton-sealing conveyor, it keeps carryover moisture out of the cylinder seals and gives the line setter one gauge to set and check the cylinder pressure.
Installed on the air drop to a spray gun station, it removes water that would fisheye the finish and lets the operator set a consistent gun pressure, with the bar gauge showing the setting at a glance.
Size 200 with a 1/4 in NPT port suits circuits where air demand is modest and panel space is tight; step up to sizes 300, 400 or 600 as the flow requirement grows. The drain choice follows your maintenance routine: the differential-pressure drain fitted here clears condensate while air is flowing and needs no adjustment, code A gives an automatic drain for unattended duty, and code M gives a manual drain emptied by hand. Filtration is 40 um as standard; specify code W for 5 um where finer protection is needed. The round gauge on this unit reads in bar; an embedded square gauge with MPa or psi scales is the alternative, and PT or G threads can be ordered instead of NPT. Code J means this unit comes without a mounting bracket; a bracket is the standard option on other variants.
Flow for this family is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can honestly quote. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and the full datasheet for this unit on request before you order.
No routine setting is needed. This model carries the differential-pressure drain, the standard option, which discharges collected condensate as air passes through the regulator. If your line runs intermittently or unattended, the automatic drain (code A) or manual drain (code M) variants of the same size may suit better - ask us when ordering.
