The AirTAC GFR20008LF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR20008LF3T is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single compact body. This 200-size unit has a 1/4 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, and an embedded square gauge scaled in bar so the set pressure is visible at a glance. It is the low-pressure (L) version, intended for circuits that run below standard regulated pressures.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fixture clamps and swing cylinders on an assembly cell that are specified to hold at reduced line pressure get both clean air and a stable, low set pressure from one body, with the bar-scaled square gauge making the clamp setting easy to verify during changeover.
A packaging line's cylinder and actuator circuit takes its feed through this unit: the 40 um element stops scale and pipe debris reaching the valves, the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate moving out of the bowl, and the regulator holds the pressure the machine was set up with.
Bench-mounted test rigs and laboratory apparatus that must not see full shop air pressure use the low-pressure type to hold a gentle, repeatable supply, with the included bracket allowing tidy panel or frame mounting next to the rig.
Start with the port and size step: 200 size covers a 1/4 in connection here, and stepping up to 300, 400 or 600 buys larger ports and more flow capacity - match the step to the air demand of the circuit rather than the fitting alone. This unit carries the standard 40 um element; choose the W suffix only if the application needs 5 um filtration. Drain is differential-pressure by default, with automatic (A) and manual (M) variants available if the installation cannot rely on flow to clear the bowl. The square gauge is fitted and scaled in bar; other scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread is NPT here, with PT and G available to order, and a mounting bracket is included.
Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm the sizing against your application - and the exact regulation range of this low-pressure type - before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow curve and sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
L marks the low-pressure type of the GFR regulator, intended for circuits running below standard regulated pressures; its exact range is not published, so we confirm it on request. This unit has no drain letter, meaning the differential-pressure drain: condensate collected in the PC bowl is bled out automatically as air flows through, with no manual draining needed under normal flow.
